Minot’s Slidin’ Four, a trombone quartet made up of four members of the Minot Symphony Orchestra – Michael HarriSon, Tyler Schwan, Luke Spelhaug and Brook Jenks – will be featured in MSO’s second Chamber Concert of the 2024-25 season, according to MSO information.

“Close Encounters with Musicians of the MSO featuring ‘Minot’s Slidin’ Four'” will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Aleshire Theater at Minot State University. The theater is located inside Hartnett Hall at MSU. The theater entrance is across from the MSU Dome on 11th Avenue Southwest.

The ensemble will perform the music of a variety of familiar composers.

A Chamber Concert is a performance by a small group of musicians in a small space. “The atmosphere will be relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy music without the intimidation of a big concert hall for newcomers,” said Ellen Fenner, MSO executive director.

Starting at $2.99/week.
