A free, five-week Active Parenting class will be held Thursdays beginning April 24, sponsored by the North Dakota State University Extension Service, Parent & Family Resource Center, Region 2.

Explore positive discipline and communication techniques that will improve your relationship with your child. This interactive program addresses situations and challenges that are expected when parenting children ages 5-12.

The course will be offered online from 6-7:30 p.m. through May 22. To register, contact the NDSU Extension Service-Ward County. The course is partially funded by the North Dakota Health and Human Services Department.
