Minot builder to participate in leadership academy
Jeff Haider, Minot, has been selected to participate in the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 2025 Leadership Academy, an annual program for industry leaders designed to help elevate their leadership skills, build institutional knowledge and inspire and prepare them to take on future leadership roles within NAHB.
Through its programming, future leaders will experience multiple aspects of what it means to be a leader in the home building industry, while defining their personal leadership style.
“We’re excited to kick off the second year of this program to help build the next generation of housing industry leaders,” said NAHB Chairman Carl Harris, a custom home builder from Wichita, Kansas, in the NAHB news release. “Members like these make it possible for NAHB to identify key industry issues, overcome challenges and fulfill our mission.”
The Leadership Academy began with a live kickoff session held last week during the 2025 NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas and will culminate with graduation at the 2026 NAHB International Builders’ Show. Sessions will feature guest speakers and industry leaders through a combination of in-person and virtual sessions. Haider joins 14 additional participants from across the country as part of this cohort.
“I am very excited to be chosen for the 2025 NAHB Leadership Academy, I look up to a lot of people involved with NAHB and I hope to continue growing my knowledge within the federation,” Haider said in the release.
