Hess donates to Prairie Grit 2025 summer programs
Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports has announced it has received a $23,850 donation from Hess Corp. to support its 2025 summer programs, ensuring adaptive sports opportunities remain accessible to you and adults with disabilities across north central North Dakota.
The funding will help sustain and expand programming that includes adaptive sport camps, an adaptive fishing day and adaptive soccer. These programs create inclusive opportunities for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive sports, according to a Prairie Grit news release.
Since inception, Prairie Grit has grown to offer nearly 50 different adaptive activities year-round, serving more than 400 participants. In the past year alone, 50 new athletes joined the program.
