FARGO – Although North Dakota women generally rank well in health and well-being compared to national statistics, there are still gaps in care for mothers and children. To address these barriers, the BCBSND Caring Foundation is accepting nominations for its Maternal Health Grants.

These grants provide funding to nonprofit and community-based organizations dedicated to reducing inequalities before, during and after pregnancy.

The four-question application asks for contact info, organization mission and list of services. Find the application on the BCBSND website. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, April 30.
