Driver Sober or Get Pulled Over results in 103 arrests
Law enforcement agencies across the state participated in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement campaign Dec. 13, 2024-Jan. 31, 2025, which resulted in 103 alcohol or drug-related citations issued.
According to a release from the North Dakota Department of Transportation, 57 of the citations were for DUI arrests, 14 citations for minor in consumption, minor in possession and open container and 16 drug related arrests.
Alcohol was a factor in about 35% of motor vehicle fatalities in North Dakota, according to the release.
