Burglary suspect arrested in downtown Minot

A suspect has been arrested in connection to an early morning burglary of a downtown Minot business on Monday.

According to Minot Police Department information, officers responded to a downtown Minot business about 5:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident, and identified as Christopher Dion Davis, 33.

The investigation determined Davis allegedly forced entry into the business but did not take any items. Davis was found to have three outstanding warrants – two for disobedience of a judicial order and one for driving under suspension/revocation.

Davis has been charged with Class C felony burglary and misdemeanor refusal to halt. The incident remains under investigation.
