Applications are open for Trinity Health’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program. The program will take place from July 28 to Dec. 18 and is designed to provide students with the emergency medical knowledge, critical thinking skills and practical proficiency necessary to care for the sick and injured.

Students will learn through class discussions, hands on skills and field clinicals to effectively recognize and intervene in patients involved in medical and traumatic emergencies, childbirth, psychological emergencies, large-scale incidents, natural disasters and much more.

Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6-10 p.m. at Trinity Health Riverside, 1900 8th Ave. SE. Applications for the EMT Program must be received by Thursday, May
