A local program to provide a free roof to a family in need is accepting nominations.

Flying B Roofing, a residential roofing company in Minot, has announced its 7th Annual Free Roof Giveaway, with nominations closing April 15.

A winner will be chosen from qualified individuals on May 5.

“The idea was born out of a desire to give back in a way that I know best, and I am incredibly grateful to continue making an impact,” Wayne Bontrager, owner and president of Flying B Roofing, said. “We encourage community members to participate by nominating individuals or families in need and by supporting local initiatives that lift up those around us. Let’s come together and make a difference.”
