WWII vet honored on 108th birthday

Residents and family members gathered on Tuesday to celebrate the 108th birthday of Ray Curtis, a World War II and retired farmer.
His birthday party at Minot Lodge Senior Living in Minot included a happy birthday wish video from Gov. Kelly Armstrong.
Curtis has definitely made an impact at the assisted living facility where he resides. Numerous residents had wonderful things to say about him.
“He is sharp as a tack and involved in almost everything,” said Earl Fink, a resident of the assisted living facility.
Multiple residents agreed, saying even at 108 his mind is still incredibly sharp.

“Ray will lead an exercise group and multiple card games, which he is usually the winner at.” said Leo Ringoen who has known Curtis for seven years.
Curtis has five daughters, and two were able to make it to celebrate their dad’s birthday. Teresa Glasbey of Portal and Judy Antrim of Laporte, Indiana, said they are very thankful to be able to celebrate another birthday with their dad.
