Easton Dickinson
SURREY — A Surrey High School senior was recently announced as the recipient of a State FFA degree.
Easton Dickinson is the first-ever State Degree recipient for the Surrey FFA chapter since it was chartered in the fall of 2021.
The State FFA Degree is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to FFA members in North Dakota. This prestigious recognition highlights Easton’s exceptional achievements in agriculture, leadership, community service and FFA involvement throughout his high school career. To qualify for the State Degree, members must demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in various areas, such as agricultural education, SAE projects and leadership roles within the FFA.
“I’m honored to receive this recognition, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve had from my peers, advisers and the community,” Dickinson said. “The Surrey FFA Chapter has been such an important part of my high school experience, and I’m proud to see it continue to grow and make an impact.”
Surrey High School FFA Adviser Molly Hanson said Dickinson has been instrumental in helping the chapter grow into a vibrant and active organization through his dedication and hard work. Hanson said in a release that Dickinson’s passion for agriculture, leadership and commitment to the FFA values have made him a standout figure in the chapter and the broader community.
“I am incredibly proud of Easton and his hard work. This is a monumental accomplishment not just for him but for the entire Surrey FFA Chapter,” Hanson said. “Easton has played a pivotal role in helping our chapter grow and thrive in such a short time. His leadership has inspired others, and he’s truly deserving of this honor.”
Dickinson will be awarded his official State Degree at the North Dakota State FFA convention in June.
