The team has grown very close over the last four years, with some members participating on the team since freshman year together. While they said they are sad their experience in drama club together will soon be ending, the team focuses on the wonderful memories they have created with one another and their coach, Paula Rauschenberger, who was named the 2024 Class B Director of the Year.

“We are lucky to have a director that knows us and knows where to cast us because of how well she knows us,” said South Prairie senior Karl Behm.

The senior class at South Prairie also has earned awards in other activities and sports. Seniors Maddie Hogue, Brylee Beeter, Natalee Becker and Joshua Lindbo placed first at FFA Nationals in Food Science. Placing first in Ag Sales were Lindbo, Becker and Beeter.

The South Prairie Drama Club is looking forward to performing its final two plays of the year, “Faith County” and “Fools Gold,” both featuring a Southern charm. The plays will be performed Tuesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. at South Prairie High School.

Rauschenberger said she is proud of her students and looks forward to another year of drama club.
