Social worker-therapist joins Minot clinic
Liz Larsen, licensed clinical social worker and therapist, recently joined Dakota Family Services, an outpatient mental and behavioral health clinic in Minot. In her new role, she provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults ages 10 years and up, as well as marriage and family therapy. She provides in-person and telehealth services at Dakota Family Services’ Minot clinic.
A mental health social worker for 34 years, Larsen is passionate about helping patients create practical, workable steps to move forward in their journey. Aside from being a therapist, she is a wife, mother and grandmother.
She received her master’s degree in social work from California State University in Sacramento, California. She is trained and certified in Solution-Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
