Minot State Theatre Arts presents first play in renovated theater
The Minot State Theatre Arts Program will present “After Ever Happily” as the first play performed in the historic Aleshire Theater following completion of a $27 million renovation of Hartnett Hall last fall.
The play by Erik Meixelsperger will have three shows, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.
“The theatre students and I are excited to perform at the newly renovated Aleshire Theater,” said Sarah Honerman, MSU assistant professor and director of theatre. “For the last year and a half, we have been finding spaces across campus to put on our productions. Being able to use our space with new LED lights, a new sound system, and a newly renovated stage — is truly a dream come true.”
The cast and crew of “After Ever Happily” will be featuring members of the faculty, staff, community members, and Minot State University Students. The following students will be featured in the production:
Ella Gilkerson, Tyler Irmen, Kristin Grubb, Melaina Haagenson, Kylee Cook , Kimmy Knutson, Kayden Lambert, Evan Putt, Liz Chapman and Dominique Scobee.
