Minot High School will present the play, “She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurer Edition,” Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 20-22.

The play, by Qui Ngyuen, is an epic fantasy featuring a cast of 14 Minot High students.

The action-packed story of grief, discovery and acceptance features a high school cheerleader named Agnes who discovers her dead sister’s journal. Except it is not an ordinary journal. This one had been written as an incomprehensible Dungeons and Dragons adventure. Agnes seeks the help of her friend Chuck to help uncover the mysteries of the journal and discover the truth behind who her sister really was. Audience discretion is advised as this show contains mature themes and may not be suitable for all.

The play will be performed each evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Arvel Graving Theatre at Minot High School.
