Minot AFB to hold open house in June
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE – For the first time since 2018, Minot Air Force Base will hold an open house. The open house is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The base will open its doors to the public for a day of military and civilian aircraft static displays and mission demonstrations from the 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing. There will be no airshow and the open house is a separate event from the traditional Northern Neighbors Day Airshow.
The event will give the public an opportunity to witness Minot AFB’s capabilities as one of the nation’s most strategic military installations.
Two years after the 2018 open house and airshow, another event was scheduled for August 2020 but was canceled for reasons including the base’s high operational tempo.
