DUI enforcement campaign kicks off Saturday

In 2023 in North Dakota, 36% of traffic deaths were alcohol-related, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Through the month of March, law enforcement across the state will have extra patrols to remove impaired drivers from the road during Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.

“One moment of poor judgment can impact lives in ways you can’t take back. Plan ahead by choosing a designated driver or use a ride hailing service to get home at the end of the night,” said Burlington Police Chief Keith Crabb in the NDDOT news release.

This campaign is part of the Vision Zero strategy to eliminate motor vehicle crash fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.

Starting at $2.99/week.
