Dakota Medical achieves accreditation, certification
Dakota Medical’s surgical center in Minot has been accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and certified by Medicare.
Ambulatory healthcare organizations seeking AAAHC Accreditation undergo an extensive self-assessment and on-site survey by AAAHC experts, according to a Dakota Medical news release. The survey is peer-based and educational, presenting best practices to help an organization improve its care and services.
“Our success is driven by an exceptional team of physicians and nursing staff who share a vision of creating a patient-first surgical experience,” Dr. Aaron Albers, medical director of Dakota Surgical Center, said in the release. “This achievement reflects their hard work, expertise and dedication to ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care.”
