Brass Band of Minot to present concert

The Brass Band of Minot will be performing on Sunday at 4 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at Minot State University.

According to Brass Band of Minot information, the 2025 Pops! Concert will include a variety of popular music ranging from jazz, swing, marches and music from popular movies. Members of the Mouse River Players will join in for some swing dances featuring members Jacob Thrailkill and Holly Eidsness.

Brass Band of Minot players range from high school students to professional music educators. The concerts are free and open to the public; However, there is an optional cash or check donation.

The band is part of the group that received grants from the North Dakota Council of the Arts as well as grants from the North Dakota Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The band’s last concert of the season will be Sunday, March 30, at 3 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
