Annual State of the City scheduled for Feb. 20
Minot’s annual State of the City, featuring an address from Mayor Tom Ross, will be held Feb. 20, according to the City of Minot.
The luncheon event will take place at the State Fair Center on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. The event is free and open to the public.
According to the city’s news release, the event will include a gathering of area mayors, who have been invited to take part in a morning roundtable discussion and hear presentations from organizations including Minot Area Chamber EDC and Visit Minot.
Lunch will begin at about 12:30 p.m., with the mayor’s address scheduled at around 1 p.m. No lunch reservation is required. Lunch will be available through MSI Concessions & Catering at a cost of $10, with 100 lunches available on a first-come, first-served basis. A portion of the meal will be products donated by AGT Foods.
“We’re grateful to be holding the State of the City at the State Fair Center and we appreciate the assistance of everyone at that facility,” Ross said in the release. “We’re thankful to work with so many great community and regional partners to make this event a success. We appreciate the opportunity to reflect on the events of 2024 and to share our vision for 2025.”
