All District 6 Girls Basketball team announced

With the games over, the accolades honoring the players for their season long efforts are now being handed out. The coaches from District 6 have voted on players that were the best all season long.
The eventual district champions from Berthold had Addison Neshem, Aubree Schepp and Kasey Simons voted to the 2024-2025 roster.
The team that placed second to the Bombers- TGU- had a pair of players as well. Ashley Martodam and Bostyn Bailey not only made the roster, but Martodam was voted the District 6 Senior Athlete of the Year as well.
Our Redeemer’s also had two players voted to the roster. Lauren Strom and Kadyn Braun represent the Lady Knights. The Surrey Mustangs also had a pair of players voted onto the roster. MaKya Gerding and Laney Will were the Lady Mustangs named to the team.
Macy Bryans from Westhope-Newburg, Emma Jones from Glenburn, Alexa Varty from Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood, Bailey Clott from Drake-Anamoose, Rachel Newmiller from Harvey-Wells County and Tochi Udekwe from Bishop Ryan rounded out the roster this year.
The Bombers coach, Denver Deaver, was named the District 6 Coach of the Year while Westhope’s Garrett Wible was named the District 6 Athletic DIrector of the Year for the 2024-2025 season.
Several athletes that received votes have the Region 3 tournament starting on Monday, February 24, in New Town.
