Temporary power loss affects Minot area
A power outage occurring Thursday at 10:46 p.m affected Xcel Energy customers across Minot and the surrounding areas.
The outage had a duration of “zero,” as reported by the company, which means there was no sustained loss of power. The cause is still under investigation and should take about a week to come to light, according to an Xcel Energy spokesperson.
Other utility suppliers were not affected.
