Produced water spill occurs near Epping

EPPING – A pipe leak caused the spill of produced water on Monday at a well site about 16 miles northwest of Epping, according to the North Dakota Oil and Gas Division.

Kraken Operating, LLC reported Monday about 10,500 gallons of produced water were released on location. At the time of reporting all of the produced water had been recovered.

A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor any additional cleanup required.
