Nurturing Parenting course to be offered in Minot
A 16-week Nurturing Parenting Program will be offered in Minot beginning Jan. 14.
The course is designed to increase parenting skills and promote healthy family life. The program helps parents communicate needs, be empathetic, use effective discipline techniques, take charge of their own behaviors, handle stress and anger, establish nurturing routines for daily activities and have warm interactions and family fun.
The program is free to participants. The class includes a children’s group or childcare. A light supper will be served from 5:30-6 p.m.
The course runs on Tuesdays, beginning Jan. 14 and ending April 29, from 6-8 p.m.at the North Dakota State University Extension-Ward County office at 900 13th St. SE, Minot. To register, contact Holly Arnold at NDSU Extension-Ward County.
