ND Cowboy Hall of Fame announces 2025 nominees for induction
MEDORA – The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame announces 14 individuals have been nominated for the organization’s 2025 inductions.
According to NDCHF information, the categories and nominees are:
-Great Westerner: Ralph Hubbard, Billings County; and Victor Hugo Stickney, Stark County.
-Western Arts and Entertainment: Dave Kulczyk, Mountrail County; and Kaye Burian, Dunn County.
-Pre-1940s Ranching: Andrew Nohle, McKenzie County; and J.D. Schlichenmayer, McLean County.
-Modern-era Ranching: Lester Anderson, Ransom County; and Billie Rase, McKenzie County.
-Pre-1970s Rodeo: Ernest Guimont, Dunn County; and Esley Thorton, Mountrail County.
-Modern-era Rodeo: Jeff Kvamme, Foster County; Duane Meester, Dunn and McKenzie counties; Ed Hall, McKenzie and Mountrail counties; and Peggy Ward, Sioux County.
The NDCHF annual meeting will be Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22, in the McKenzie County Ag Expo Building in Watford City. Testimonials by family and friends about the 2025 nominees will be presented Saturday at 1 p.m.
The organization’s trustees will vote on the nominees by mail-in ballot, and the 2025 inductees will be announced at the Season Premier on Saturday, May 3, at the NDCHF, Medora.
The induction ceremony will be Saturday, June 14, at Tjaden Terrace, Medora.
