A mobile home in southwest Minot was damaged by a fire on Sunday.

According to City of Minot information, the Minot Fire Department responded to a report of smoke filling a mobile home about 5:26 p.m. Engine 1 arrived on scene and confirmed smoke visible from the structure. Crews verified that no occupants were inside before entering the home to conduct a thorough search and locate the fire.

Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames concentrated at the rear of the home, as well as fire beneath the structure and within its walls. Crews remained on scene for more than an hour to extinguish the fire.

The residence sustained extensive damage. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
