RAY – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has reported the death of a Minot man in a single vehicle crash Thursday morning on U.S. Highway 2 near Ray.

According to Highway Patrol information, a 1998 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 54 year old Minot man was traveling west on Highway 2 shortly after 7 a.m. The vehicle entered the center median and overturned. The driver was transported by a Ray ambulance to a Tioga hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The name of the driver will be released upon notification of next of kin.

The Highway Patrol reports road conditions at the time of the crash consisted of frost and ice on the road. The crash remains under investigation.
