The Minot Fire Department extinguished a house fire in northwest Minot on Tuesday, according to a release from the City of Minot.

According to city information, the Minot Fire Department was dispatched to 1017 7th Ave. NW at 11:50 a.m. after a report was made of smoke coming from a window air conditioner unit. Crews arrived on scene within three minutes and 40 seconds and swifty put out the fire and ventilated the affected area.

The house was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation.
