City of Minot offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

The regular City Council meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Minot Public Library will be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and city transit buses will run on their regular schedules on the holiday.

There will be no residential garbage collection on Monday. The next garbage pickup for residents with Monday/Thursday collection will be Thursday, Jan. 23. The City of Minot landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on the holiday.
