Bishop Ryan Catholic School and Minot will play host to the 16th annual State “Know Your Faith” Competition today at the Minot Municipal Auditorium.

A part of Catholic Schools Week, the competition involves a Jeopardy-like knowledge competition regarding all parts of Catholic faith and tradition between teams from BRCS, St. Mary’s in Bismarck, Trinity in Dickinson, School of the Holy Family in Mandan and Shanley in Fargo.

Each school starts Catholic Schools Week with a local “Know Your Faith” competition to determine the class representing their school at the state tournament, with teams of three students taking the stage for preliminary rounds of questions. Physical challenge events are sprinkled throughout the competition to engage the high school fans in the audience.
