Anne Carlsen announces CEO transition plan

JAMESTOWN – Stephanie Nelson, chief operating officer at Anne Carlsen, has been announced by the organization’s board of directors as the next chief executive officer. She will succeed Tim Eissinger, who plans to retire in December 2025.

Nelson joined Anne Carlsen as a speech language pathologist, according to a news release from Anne Carlsen. She also has held roles in the Ideation and Organizational Development departments. In July 2017, she was promoted to her current position.

Nelson holds a Master of Science degree in speech language pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Arts degree in leadership from the University of Jamestown.

Under Eissinger’s leadership, Anne Carlsen has been involved in many mission related improvement initiatives, including regional restructuring; implementing persons served, families and staff engagement survey work and advisory councils; making major positive structural changes to the Foundation and Development/Marketing Team; and designing and building a new state of the art facility with the new Ballantyne Berg Campus in Jamestown.
