Amplify ND to host virtual event
FARGO — Prairie Action North Dakota Institute (PANDI) announces the next installment of its Amplify North Dakota virtual series, set for Saturday, Jan 18, at 10 a.m. This month’s event will spotlight two of PANDI’s Legislative Priority Pillars: Economic Justice and Equality, addressing both proactive and defensive efforts at the North Dakota Legislature.
The one-hour program will feature expert voices from advocacy groups, including ND Native Vote, ND United, ND Human Rights Coalition and more. These leaders will discuss critical bills being advanced in the current legislative session and strategies to defend against harmful policies while providing actionable insights for North Dakotans seeking to make a difference.
“This event is a powerful opportunity to connect people from communities across the state,” said Amy Jacobson, executive director of PANDI. “With the Legislature in full swing, it’s more important than ever to engage, stay informed and advocate for policies that support everyday North Dakotans.”
Speakers will share updates on their legislative efforts, covering topics such as economic policies that impact Native American communities, working families, public education and human rights issues. Attendees also will gain tools to support these priorities and learn how to engage effectively with their legislators.
