Teresa Kiichler
April 15, 1970-Dec. 23 2024
Denver, Colo.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa Lee Kiichler on December 23, 2024, at the age of 54, from a long battle with multiple organ failure.
Teresa was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie and grandmother. Teresa will always be remembered for her perfect combination of spice and sweetness. She was quick to make a joke but was also quick to help those in need.
Teresa was born on April 15th, 1970, to Harris and Sherill Berg in Minot, North Dakota. She married Trent Kiichler on July 13th, 2006. The two shared a loving 18 years of marriage. With Trent’s job taking them on many adventures through many different states, the chapters they wrote were filled with adventures and love stories from hiking through Sedona, Arizona; autumn road trips through Minnesota, trips to Las Vegas, fun with friends and family in South Dakota, and sharing the beauty of the Rockies in Colorado.
Teresa commonly spent her free time at a bingo hall and doing many crafts. Teresa gave the best homemade gifts of crocheted blankets and scarves. Teresa would put the comfort in comfort food, filling everyone with love. She was nothing but proud of her nieces and nephews and would be the loudest cheerleader at their sporting events.
One of Teresa’s favorite titles was Kiki, her self given Grandma name. She would take any chance to show off her granddaughter Ava. The 16 months that Ava and Kiki had together was filled with many Face time dates, hugs, kisses and plenty of giggles.
Teresa is survived by her husband Trent, son David Ripley, daughter Alexa (Matthew) Fiskum, and grandchild Ava Fiskum. She is also survived by her mother Sherill Berg, sisters Becky Bertsch and Lisa (Shawn) Rafferty, nieces and nephews Ryann Rafferty, Karsen (Taylor) Rafferty, Kade Gilstad, Erin Rafferty, Cole (Carolyn) Gilstad, Brynley Bertsch. Teresa is also survived by her mother in law Sherry (Barry) Eckstrom.
She is preceded in death by her father Harris, grandparents Ole, Alpha, Opal and Lenard.
