Fire damaged half of a 12-garage structure in northeast Minot Friday, according to the Minot Fire Department.

In a release from the department, it was reported firefighters were dispatched at 3:24 p.m. to 3344 7th St. NE for a garage fire. Upon arrival, fire crews discovered six garages in a 12-garage structure engulfed in flames.

Crews were able to quickly bring the fire under control and extinguished the fire with the utilization of an aerial ladder and the elevated master stream. The damage was confined to the six garages, and no injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
