Today marks the first day for Eyemart Express, which is opening a new store at 1511 24th Ave. SW.

Eyemart Express has a 34-year history of offering comprehensive eye exams and glasses that can be fitted and completed in just one day, according to a company news release.

Minot is the optical retailer’s fourth location in North Dakota.

The store has an in-store lens lab capable of having glasses ready in as little as 30 minutes.

The optical retailer makes sizable donations to the nonprofit cancer research and treatment organization Stand Up To Cancer and builds awareness of the mental health organization PeaceLove through the sales of certain frame collections.

Dr. Cameron Deschamp will provide in-store eye exams. The store also will accept prescriptions from other eye doctors.
