At the left is Frank Senn, junior vice commander of North Dakota DAV Department, and at right, Chuck Emery, commander of DAV Chapter 4 of Minot. The check is to help with the cost of materials to create quilts the organization presents to veterans. Peace and Honor Quilts of Valor is a chapter of the Quilts of Valor Foundation in Minot. Its mission is to cover service members and veterans with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. Many of the group’s quilts have been presented to veterans in the Minot area.
