Crude oil, produced water released at fire site
RAY – A tank fire on Friday occurred at the Go Ron Anderson, 157-97-13H-1 well, about 6.8 miles north of Ray, according to the North Dakota Oil and Gas Division.
Hess Bakken Investments II, LLC reported Saturday that 17,640 gallons of crude oil and 2,520 gallons of produced water were released on location from the fire. At the time of reporting 126 gallons of crude oil and 126 gallons of produced water had been recovered.
A N.D. Oil and Gas inspector has been to the location and will monitor the investigation and remediation.
