City offices will be closed Dec. 24-25 in observance of the Christmas holiday, including City Hall, Public Works, Municipal Court and the Engineering Department, according to a release from the City of Minot,

City offices will also be closed Jan. 1, 2025, in observance of the New Year’s holiday.

There will be no residential garbage collection on Dec. 24 and the next garbage collection for residents with Tuesday/Friday collection will be Friday, Dec. 27. All other garbage and recycling collections will run as scheduled.

The City of Minot landfill will be closed, City transit buses will not run, and Minot Municipal Court will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. The Minot Public LIbrary will be closed Dec. 24-25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, but will be open regular hours all other days.
