The Minot Fire Department extinguished a vehicle fire that also damaged the exterior of an adjacent hotel on North Broadway Wednesday.

According to City of Minot information, crews were dispatched shortly before 7 p.m. and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames near the Super 8 hotel. Crews were able to quickly contain damage to the structure’s exterior and extinguish the fire.

Additional crews were able to immediately evacuate the hotel, assisted by the hotel’s fire alarm system. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
