Unopposed candidates, measure on way to passage
North Central District judges Richard Hagar and Stacy Louser were reelected to six-year terms in North Central District Court Tuesday. Both ran unopposed. Unofficial vote totals were 27,575 for Hagar and 27,631 for Louser.
Hagar was first elected in 2006 to the North Central Judicial District judgeship #3 in Minot. Louser was appointed as district judge by Gov. Jack Dalrymple in 2014 to the North Central Judicial District #4 in Minot. She was first elected in 2016 to finish the term and reelected in 2018 to a full term.
David Colby of Kenmare won reelection as supervisor on the board of the Ward County Soil Conservation District. He received 22,729 votes in the unofficial count.
A measure to annex additional property into the United Rural Ambulance District was approved 635 to 150. The proposal is to annex areas in Mountrail, Renville and Ward counties served by Berthold Ambulance Service to collect taxes in areas already being served.
