Nedrose School Board president James Vannett was elected as the North Dakota School Board’s Association Northwest director at the organization’s annual convention, according to a news release from NDSBA.

Vannett has served on the Nedrose School Board for eight years. In his time as board president, Vannett chaired its Negotiations Committee and has been a member of the local Career Technical Education committee and the Regional Central Region Education Association/Central Regional Area Career and Technical Center Board.

The North Dakota School Boards Association advocates for public education, serving public school districts across the state of North Dakota. NDSBA provides support to local school board members through professional development, resources, and legislative advocacy.
