Republican candidates claim victory in District 4
The legislative seats up for grabs in District 4 ended with Republican candidates claiming victory in unopposed races for the Senate and House, while Dem-NPL Rep. Lisa Finley-Deville retained her seat in a contested race.
Based on partial results from the North Dakota Secretary of State, Republican Chuck Walen raked in 5,239 votes in the Senate race, while incumbent Clayton Fegley also won an uncontested race in the House race in District 4B with 3,625 votes. The lone race in District 4 came in District 4A between Republican Ronald Brugh and incumbent Dem-NPL Rep. Lisa Finley-Deville. Finley-DeVille pulled away with 1,501 votes to Brugh’s 850.
