The President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2003 to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national security. The award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
The Outstanding N.D. Chapter of the Year plaque was presented to Chapter 4 Commander Chuck Emery by N.D. State DAV Commander Doug Benjamin. This is the third year in a row Minot Chapter 4 has received this honor.
Jim Davenport organized and implemented the DAV awards dinner.
