Arrest made after burglary

One of three suspects allegedly involved in a burglary in Minot on Sunday has been arrested, according to a release from the City of Minot.

Minot Central Dispatch received a 911 call at 10:43 p.m. from a northwest Minot resident reporting three males wearing masks entered her residence and sprayed bear mace. The caller said she, an adult male victim and three young children were affected by the bear mace. The three suspects then continued to physically assault the adult male victim before fleeing the residence.

Officers with the Minot Police Department and an ambulance responded to the residence, and all five alleged victims were transported to the emergency room at a Minot hospital for treatment related to the spray exposure.

According to the release, both adult victims identified one of the suspects as Brian Keith Clark Jr., 23, Minot. Clark was known to both adult victims.

Officers later located Clark in a parking lot at a northwest Minot business where he was arrested and charged with burglary committed at night, a Class B felony; two counts of aggravated assault, a Class C felony; and three counts of aggravated assault involving victims under 12 years old, a Class B felony.

Clark is currently being held at the Ward County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, including identification of the other two suspects.
