Early voting begins in Ward County
More than 1,000 Ward County voters took advantage of early voting on Monday, filling the hallways of the Ward County Administration Building.
The Ward County Auditor’s Office said the total number of early votes cast was 1,259 at 3:50 p.m. Monday. The line stretched all the way past the doors for the Ward County Library but moved briskly, with several voters saying the entire process took about half an hour.
Early voting will continue through Friday and again on Monday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Polling for the general election will run from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, and Ward County residents may vote at any polling location. Polling locations in Ward County include the Ward County Administration Building, Minot Municipal Auditorium-Armory, N.D. State Fair Center, Berthold Senior Center, Burlington City Hall, Kenmare Memorial Hall, Ryder City Hall, Sawyer City Hall and Surrey City Hall.
