Weekend crash victims identified
The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the identities of individuals killed and injured in three separate traffic crashes Saturday in Williams and Renville counties.
A crash about two miles east of Grano in Renville County resulted in the death of Kellie Tahtinen, 52, Minot, who was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by William Foondle, 66, Minot, who sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was charged with DUI and failure to have a motorcycle license endorsement.
A truck crash about 23 miles north of Williston at about 10:53 p.m. fatally injured Rodney Miller, 64, Williston. Miller’s Kenworth straight truck struck a cow, ran off the road and rolled.
A motorcycle that left the roadway on Highway 1804, 23 miles southwest of Williston, resulted in the death of the driver, Jesse Lyon, 41, Culbertson, Montana. A passenger, Cameo Tanner, 40, from Yreka, California, sustained serious injuries. The Highway Patrol is investigating possible charges.
