BISMARCK — Submissions are being accepted for the 2025 “Teen Takeover,” an opportunity for teens across the state to showcase their talents and perspectives, according to the State Historical Society of North Dakota.

North Dakota residents between the ages of 13 and 18 are invited to submit an original work interpreting the theme “What North Dakota Means to Me.” Whether through 2D visual art or written creative expression, teens are encouraged to bring their unique voices and visions to life.

The deadline for submissions is Dec. 1. Finalists’ work will be exhibited in spring 2025 at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. Submission information is available by contacting Education and Engagement Manager Laura Forde at the State Historical Society.
