NPS awards park grant to Turtle Mountain

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Park Service announced an award of $1 million through the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program to support redevelopment at the Turtle Mountain Family Recreation Areas, according to U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND.

The program is funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund and provides grants for community sponsored park projects in communities where populations are greater than 30,000 residents.
