Elk protection chapter to host banquet

The North Dakota Coteau Hills Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) will host its 40th-anniversary celebration at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024.

The RMEF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation, protection and restoration of elk habitat. It works to protect and grow the elk population in the Coteau Hills, which stretches from Divide County to McLean County. Since 1984, RMEF has conserved and enhanced more than 9 million acres.
