Basic Beginnings, an educational series for new or expectant parents, will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, in Minot.

The class includes demonstrations, discussion and facilitation to teach the basics of baby care as it relates to bonding, attachment, safety, health, sleep, feeding and development.

The class runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the North Dakota State University Extension-Ward County office at 900 13th St. SE. Lunch and free child care will be provided.

The class is free and presented by the Parent and Family Resource Center. Contact the center, located at the Extension office, to register.
